What exactly do I pay?

You pay 2.5% of each ticket sold as our platform fee, plus standard payment processing fees (~3%). For a ₹100 ticket, that's ₹2.50 to UTSOV + ₹3 for payment processing = ₹5.50 total.

Are there any setup or monthly fees?

No! There are no setup fees, monthly fees, or hidden charges. You only pay when you sell tickets. Free events are completely free.

Who pays the fees - me or my attendees?

You can choose! You can either absorb the fees into your ticket price, or pass them on to attendees as a service fee. Most organizers include fees in their ticket price for transparency.

How does payment processing work?

We use secure payment processors that charge standard rates (~3% + small fixed fee). This goes directly to the payment processor - we don't mark it up. Funds are deposited to your account within 2-3 business days.

Can I get volume discounts?

For large events (1000+ tickets) or frequent organizers, we offer custom pricing. Contact us to discuss volume discounts.

What if I need to refund tickets?

Refunds are easy! We'll refund our platform fee on any refunded tickets. Payment processing fees may be non-refundable depending on your payment processor.

What if I need to cancel my entire event?

Event cancellations depend on your situation:

  • Free events: Can be cancelled anytime with no fees
  • Paid events with no bookings: Cancel anytime with no fees
  • Paid events with bookings: You're responsible for attendee refunds. We'll refund our platform fees, but payment processing fees may apply
  • Within 24 hours of creation: Grace period for new events with minimal bookings

We recommend clear refund policies and event insurance for large events.
